The challenge was to create an educational coloring book about lowriders that would appeal to both car enthusiasts and general readers. The solution was to divide the content into five sections, each focusing on a key aspect of lowrider culture: its historical background, the iconic 1964 Chevy Impala, the parts of a lowrider, lowrider paint styles, and the modern lowrider subculture. Illustrations were developed for each section, with the backgrounds faded to a lower opacity to ensure the lowrider vehicles remained the central focus. Each page also included a short, simplified text explaining the topic, designed to inform readers without overwhelming them with complex automotive terminology. This approach kept the material accessible and engaging, even for those with little prior interest in cars.
